How long does delivery take, and where do orders ship from?

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive 5–15 business days after dispatch. Orders ship directly from our independent suppliers, mostly in China, with end-to-end tracking. Shipping is free ($0.00 USD) on every order. See our shipping policy.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, and Australia.

Will I pay import duties or taxes?

Applicable US state sales tax is shown at checkout before payment. Orders to the EU, UK, Norway, Canada and Australia ship from Asia. Import VAT or GST, customs duty (EU: €3 per item type on parcels up to €150 since 1 July 2026) and the carrier's handling fee may be charged to you on delivery and are not included in our prices.

Can I return a piece?

Yes. Unworn pieces with all original backs, pouches, and packaging can be returned by mail within 30 days of delivery for a full refund with no restocking fee. Email support@varette.com first and we send you the return address. In the EU, the EEA (including Norway) and the UK you can also withdraw within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason: Withdraw from contract here. See our refund policy.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your returned piece arrives and is inspected, we issue your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days.

Which payment methods can I use?

Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay; checkout shows the exact options for your country before you pay.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email support@varette.com with your order number within 12 hours of ordering and we will try to change or cancel it before dispatch; if we cancel it, we refund you in full. Once it has shipped, you can return it within 30 days of delivery.

Are your pieces solid gold?

No. Our gold-coloured pieces have a gold-tone finish over stainless steel or another base metal. Every product page states the finish and whether pearls or stones are cultured freshwater pearls, simulated pearls, or cubic zirconia, and names the base metal where our supplier confirms it.

Are the pearls real?

We use both cultured freshwater pearls and simulated pearls, depending on the design. Each product page states whether a piece uses cultured freshwater pearls (grown in freshwater mussels) or simulated pearls.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

A gold-tone finish is a surface layer, and it can wear over time, faster with water, perfume, lotion and sweat, so we do not call our pieces tarnish-proof. Whether a piece marks your skin depends on the base metal and your skin; each product page names the base metal where our supplier confirms it. The care guide shows how to keep the finish bright for longer.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

We do not have nickel or lead test reports for our pieces, so we do not call them hypoallergenic or nickel-free. If you react to nickel or other metals, check the base metal on the product page and email us before you order.

How do I look after my jewelry?

Keep pieces dry, put them on after perfume, lotion, or hairspray, and wipe them with a soft dry cloth after wear. See our care guide.

How do I find my ring size?

Our rings use standard US sizes. Each ring page lists the sizes it comes in, from US 3 to US 11 across the range. The size guide gives the inside diameter in millimetres for each size.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

No, we do not offer gift wrapping or gift notes at the moment.
