Size guide

The easiest way to find your ring size is to measure a ring that already fits the finger you want to wear it on. Each ring page lists the sizes it comes in.

Measure a ring you own

  1. Lay the ring flat on a ruler.
  2. Measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
  3. Find the closest diameter in the table. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Measure your finger

  1. Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger.
  2. Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimetres: that is the circumference.
  3. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.

Ring sizes

US size UK / AU Inside diameter (mm) EU size (circumference, mm)

Necklace lengths

Chain lengths we sell include 35, 38, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, 50, 55, 60 and 70 cm, plus an adjustable 37–42 cm choker. Where a length sits depends on your neck and build; as a guide:

Chain length Where it usually sits
35–38 cm (14–15 in) Close to the base of the neck, like a choker
40–42 cm (16–16.5 in) At the collarbone
45–46 cm (18 in) Just below the collarbone
50 cm (20 in) Below the collarbone, above the neckline of most tops
55–60 cm (22–24 in) On the upper chest, over a crew neck
70 cm (27.5 in) Mid-chest: long lariat and pendant styles

If a necklace page does not give the chain length, email support@varette.com before you order and we check it with our supplier. A person replies within 2 business days.
